The Physics Virtual Lab, PVL, is a Physics EduVirtualLab (Educational Virtual Lab), it is audio visual and fully interactive, it is based on the mathematical models of the experiments it contains.

The PVL has been developed to accomplish computer assisted teaching and learning in the physics courses at high schools, and universities. The PVL makes easier and more productive the work of the teacher, and since it is intuitively-easy-to-use, it stimulates the student to carry out experiments by his/her own account, which contributes to profit more of the physics course and as a consequence to optimize his/her academic formation.

Nowadays the PVL is successfully used by some teachers as an aid to their explanations in the classroom; it is also used as the main tool in updating courses addressed to physics teachers.
